KS2 Mathematics Quizzes

Key Stage 2 Mathematics covers Years 3 to 6 and culminates in the Year 6 SATs, which assess arithmetic and mathematical reasoning against national standards. The KS2 curriculum builds on the number sense developed at KS1, extending into multi-digit calculation, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, and more advanced geometry and statistics. Number and Calculation

SATs Preparation and Revision Strategy

The Year 6 SATs consist of three maths papers: an arithmetic paper and two reasoning papers. The arithmetic paper rewards speed and accuracy, while the reasoning papers require pupils to apply their knowledge to multi-step problems and explain their methods.
