Quiz Description

(Reflection quizzes for pupils in the KS2 level who wish to boost their scores in the end of year ks2 SATs exams or children that wish to boost their performance in class)

Hi there.Have you ever heard of reflection?  Maybe in your ks2 classes?, today we will be exploring Reflections as seen in ks2 national curriculum, throughout this we will be looking at the laws of reflections.

Reflection as we know is the bouncing off of waves from a surface and when we talk about reflection with respect to light, it is the bouncing off of a beam of light from a shiny surface. While when we talk about the reflection of sound, the surface does not need to be shining before reflection can occur.

Reflections does have 3 laws that govern how reflection occurs  and those laws are called  Laws of reflection.  This laws are as follows

  1. The angle of incidence of a wave is the same as the angle of reflection of that wave
  2. The incident wave, the normal and reflected ray all strike the surface at the same point.
  3. The third law is also known as snell's law and it states that “the ratio of the sine of incidence to the sine of the angle of reflection is a constant known as the “refractive index”

If you are interested in learning more about reflections, we advise you to take our set quizzes below.

Have fun.
