Kandinsky, Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky was a Russian Art theorist and also a Russian Painter. He is generally referred to as the pioneer of abstract art. He was born in Moscow, on the 16th of December 1866 and he spent his childhood in Odessa. Kandinsky is well known for his lyrical style and his innovative theories which have to deal with non figurative art.
