What is easter?

Easter is a Christian event where they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion and burial.

During the ks1 easter lesson, children are told the story of easter as written in the bible and they equally discuss the life of Jesus. 

As a moral lesson, children are challenged to be selfless just like Jesus was.

Alongside studying the lesson on Easter, children in ks1 also carry out fun activities like playing, drawing, singing and praying.
