(Simple A level Work, Energy, and Power quizzes to assist students at the A level preparing for GCE, GCSE and necta.)

Hi. Welcome to Gce Quiz portal. We are here to test your knowledge using educational quizzes;

In this quiz, our focus will be on work, energy, and power. These three concepts are treated thus because they are very much related. More light will be thrown on these concepts below. Also, there are ready-made quizzes to assist with these concepts. Before proceeding, let's recall what these concepts are:

What is work, energy, and power?

Work refers to anything that has to do with a force and movement in  directon of the force. For example, a force of 3 newtons pushing an object  2 meters in the direction of the force does 100 joules of work.

 Energy is the capacity or ability to do work. You must have energy to be able to do work - it is like the "currency" for performing work. To do 20 joules of work, you must spend about 10 joules of energy.

 Power is the rate of doing work or the rate of using energy, which are numerically the same. If you do 30 joules of work in one second (using 50 joules of energy), then power has been exerted.

 During exams, students are evaluated via multiple-choice and/or short answer questions on work, energy, and power. The difference between work and energy should also be understood, and taken note of. In this light, many practice quizzes are made available. On this platform, you will equally find quizzes on other subject matter. Click here for more entertaining quizzes.

This platform is one of the best you'll find, with relative ease in practicing for your exams. You can always invite your friends along to learn together. For more info, visit gcequiz.com. Enjoy yourself.
